Krauss’ The History of Love

First off, I’m upset that I can’t italicize the title of the book in the header, but oh well.

I finished this book a while ago, and it is a fantastic book. I certainly think that there is great range of breadth and depth to this book. Nicole Krauss does a phenomenal job of showing how love can mean so many different things to so many people.Image

I would really suggest that everyone at least takes a gander at reading this book. It’s not a quick read, or it may be for some, I just took my time with it, but it is worth waiting until the end to see how everything is brought together. The themes and images are moving, and I think that the characters are really well thought out and complex. The more complex the character is the better, and this book does not disappoint.

Anyway, I hope you all are having a lovely day, and I’m sorry that I haven’t been posting. I haven’t had anything good to say and I figured I was getting rather boring with my “dear diary” type posts. 🙂
