Back to the Writing Board

ImageEven though my program doesn’t start until June I’ve started taking time off from work on Fridays to work on my writing. I picked up a few books that look really interesting. One is a tome called The Seven Basic Plots, which I thought was going to be a rather small book, but it’s a good 700 page read. I’m really looking forward to it because plot is where I tend to flounder. I have a decent time making good characters, and I can manage a plot up to a point, but I always reach a moment where I’m not sure where to go. So, I’m hoping this book will help me with enlighten me somewhere in it’s 700+ pages.

I also think that because I’ve been having a hard time coming up with content for multiple posts a week I will just have on large post on Fridays when I have the time and energy to think things through before I post. I’ll still try and post a quote or a new book I’m reading during the week, but it won’t be set in stone. I never had time to think of a good post every other day, and I felt like I had lost a bit of authenticity when it came to keeping my posts about literature.

Anyhow, I hope you all have a wonderful Friday to kick off your weekend!.

Happy Reading!
